Our Work
1) Education
a) P.B. Gada Paramshanti English Medium School – Bhachau
The school was founded to provide English medium education to children from modest-income families. It operates on a no-loss-no-profit basis and offers education from L.K.G. to Std 10, with about 600 students currently enrolled. The organization plans to expand into higher secondary education soon.
b) Navjivan Secondary & Higher Secondary Gujarati Medium School
Built with the support of Shrimati Madhuben Thakersi Bhai Patel (Sympolo Ceramic, Morbi), the school offers classes from Std 5 to 12. Over 750 students have benefited from the complete education system available on the campus.
2) Hostel (Chhatralay)
a) Smt. Minaxiben Prafulbhai Babulal Satra Kanya Chhatralay
The girls’ hostel serves students from diverse castes and disadvantaged backgrounds. It provides free quality education and facilities without discrimination. Over 900 girls have benefited, with 50 currently residing. The hostel offers meals three times a day and excellent facilities.
b) Seth Chunilal Gagaldas Shah Kumar Chhatralay – Bhachau
Provides food, accommodation, education, counseling, and coaching for boys from rural and economically weaker sections. Over 325 boys have benefited so far, with 50 currently in residence.
3) Kilkilat Residential School for Mentally Retarded Children
Located in Halvad, it serves children with disabilities, especially from the “Agariya” (Salt Maker) community. More than 50 mentally challenged children are cared for annually. The school provides basic training in hygiene, behavior, and independence, with specially trained RCI-certified staff.
4) Disability-Oriented Activities
a) Medical Assessment Camps
Held in various districts to assess disabilities and provide medical certificates required for government assistance. In 2020–21, 12 such camps were organized.
b) Medical Certificate & UDID Card
The organization assists in issuing official disability IDs. Over 1,000 certificates were processed in 2021–22 to ensure access to government services.
c) Disability Pension & Travel Schemes
Assistance with applications for the Sant Surdas Pension Yojana and free travel passes. In 2021–22, 198 ST passes and 234 pensions were facilitated.
d) Aids & Appliances
Distributed electric tricycles, wheelchairs, crutches, and artificial limbs to over 1,000 people annually. In 2021–22, 39 electric tricycles were distributed with CSR support from IOCL.
e) Disabled Marriages
Organized mass weddings to support differently-abled individuals in forming families. In 2017, 11 couples were married in a single event.
f) Cultural & Sports Activities
Events such as blind cricket tournaments and athletic meets promote physical and social inclusion. Programs are designed to build confidence and well-being through participation.
g) Skill Development & Employment
Training in professional, business, and life skills enables people with disabilities to become economically self-sufficient. The organization promotes equal access to skill training and job placement.
h) Inclusive Education – Halvad
In collaboration with the government, inclusive education is provided to mentally and physically challenged children across Gujarat. Over 500 students have benefited, with notable achievements in sports and academics.
5) Multi-Purpose Women Welfare Center
Located in Bhachau, Nakhatrana, and Bhuj, these centers offer support, training, and legal aid to women. Programs focus on self-employment, domestic violence assistance, and empowerment through education and outreach.
